I've been looking for small tractor to work around my property. I found a Ford 1210 and I'm wondering if the price is a little high. They are asking $6000. It has 1250 hours, a 5' mid-mount mower, 4WD, Hydro, and the 3 cyl. diesel. I've seen other 1210's for sale at around $4000. Does 4WD add that much? I'm not looking for a mower on the tractor, but if figured I could always sell it if the tractor price was right. Any and all input would be appreciated.Thanks,<br>Dave

I've just purchased a mower (Grasshopper 1822D) which has a 3 cyl. Kubota diesel engine. Can anyone tell me where I can find manuals for this engine? I'm checking with Grasshopper, but haven't received an answer as of yet.Thanks,<br>Dave

I have two acres of grass with a house, pond, driveway and a fence (slip rail fence - 4 row) all the way around the property. My primary goal is to reduce the mowing time since it's a weekly activity. Secondly I need a tractor to move dirt, rocks and mulch, plow the driveway, maintain the pond and keep the edges of the property clear of brush. So do I want something like a JD 650 or 850 series with a 60" or 72" deck - how well will these units go around trees and mow along a fence row. My other option is a zero-turn mower for mowing and a tractor just for the non-mowing work. Any thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,<br>Dave in PA
